Kisi Qvevri

The Amber Icon of Kakheti. Ancient Method. Unfiltered. Unforgettable.

The Story This is not just wine; it is history in a bottle. Gamarjoba Kisi Qvevri is crafted using Georgia’s continuous 8,000-year-old tradition.

The finest Kisi grapes are fermented with their skins and seeds in Qvevri—large clay vessels buried deep within the earth. This prolonged contact with the grape skins gives the wine its signature amber color, rich tannins, and extraordinary complexity. It is a raw, unfiltered expression of the Shilda terroir, offering a taste profile that bridges the gap between white and red wine.

Appearance: A stunning deep amber to light orange color.

Aroma: A captivating, evolving bouquet. Expect intense notes of dried apricots, orange zest, roasted almonds, and sweet spices.

Palate: Full-bodied and structured. Unlike standard white wines, this Qvevri wine possesses a "tannic grip" similar to a red wine. Flavors of dried fruit, walnuts, and tea leaves lead to a long, dry, and savory finish.

Region: Kakheti, Georgia

Grape Variety: 100% Kisi

Type: Dry Amber Wine (Qvevri / Skin-Contact)

Method: Fermented and aged in Qvevri (underground clay vessels) with 6 months of skin contact.

Alcohol: 12.5% - 13.5% (Typical range)

Serving Temperature: 12–14°C (54–57°F) – Serve slightly warmer than standard white wine to unlock the complex aromas.
